Jacques Charron was born at Moissac, France in 1954. A true Gascognen, he swears that it is not only in Paris that they make good and beautiful music. He grew up in the Tarn and Garonne and entered the Conservatory of Toulouse: a new world that he is very eager to know. He followed solfege, harmonie, horn, the, he choses composition, orchestre conducting and education.
He was the director of the Conservatory at Vierzon where ,in 1987, he founded the "Concours International de Sonates". He is actually professor in musical formation at the Conservatory of Bourges. Until now he composed 73 works for different instruments.
